Abstract

Romanian marine fishing of demersal species is a segment of special economic importance, the most valuable species being mainly turbot. In this paper are presented data on the demersal species turbot, whiting and dogfish, related to:  Distribution and migration routes;  State of exploitation at Black Sea level;  The catch dynamics at Romanian littoral;  Structure of fish populations on size classes;  Growth parameters and mortality rates;  Establish environmental health through the descriptor 3 (D3/MSFD);  Conclusions and recommendations;
