About the Journal
CERCETĂRI MARINE / RECHERCHES MARINES (ISSN 0250-3069) is an international journal which publishes papers on all aspects of marine and coastal environment, preferably but not only from the Black Sea basin area.
The scope of the journal is to publish novel research papers, including review papers, theoretical contributions, to facilitate the dissemination of research results among scientific community interested in promoting the research results in marine sciences and environmental protection to participate with us in creating a common frame to exploit the scientific results.
The Journal is published exclusively in English. It publishes one regular issue per year, and occasionally one special issue, on a special theme (if case). Articles published are double-blind peer-reviewed and included into one of the following categories: original scientific papers, review articles, short communications, conference papers, and miscellaneous.
This is an open access journal, which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.
There is no submission or publishing fee.
The authors are responsible for the scientific content of their articles published in the journal.
