The Editorial Board of Cercetări Marine – Recherches Marines is committed to upholding the following standards:

Ensuring the journal's regular publication on an annual basis;

Adhering to international editorial conventions to enhance the discoverability of published articles, including: Fully descriptive article titles and abstracts; Complete bibliographic details for all cited references; Full affiliation and contact information for each author;

Implementing a rigorous peer-review process that reflects the journal’s standards and ensures the overall quality of the research and the completeness of the referenced literature;

Maintaining a high level of scientific quality by involving reviewers with relevant academic backgrounds and recognized expertise in their respective fields.
Additionally, the journal promotes:
► Acknowledgment of funding sources supporting the scientific research presented in the published articles;
► Greater international diversity among contributing authors and members of the Editorial Board.

Cercetări Marine - Recherches Marines journal follows The Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) guidelines.
Fair Play
► The Editor-in-Chief and reviewers evaluate manuscripts solely based on their academic merit, without regard to the authors’ race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic background, citizenship, or political views.
Confidentiality
► The Editor-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, and editorial staff will maintain strict confidentiality concerning submitted manuscripts. Information will only be shared with the corresponding authors, reviewers, editorial advisors, and the publisher, as appropriate.
Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest
► Unpublished material disclosed in a submitted manuscript will not be used in the personal research of the Editor-in-Chief or Editorial Board members without the author’s explicit written consent.
