Abstract

The quantitative dynamics of the phytoplankton along the East-of-Constanta profile, in the conditions prevailing in 1972, are described. Density and biomass data are discussed by biologic seasons and horizons. Comparative considerations by reference with data recorded in other years are ventured. The conclusion is that in 1972 a slight drop in amount of phytoplankton was recorded.
