Quelques observations sur les résultats de pèche des chalutiers roumains dans les eaux de la république islamique de Mauritanie durant la campagne de 1975
Keywords:
stern trawler, catches in the Mauritanian watersAbstract
The authors analyze the fishing possibilities with a 2000 G.R.T stern trawler based on Romanian catches obtained in the Mauritanian waters in 1970-1972 as on the experimental cruise in 1975. The lack of periodicity, the transitive aspect between the North and the South parts of the Northwest African area and some ecological unbalances are emphasized. It concludes that for these kinds of fishing vessels (more than 2000 G.R.T) there is possible to obtain 20-30 m t/ day catch on species of high economical value.
