Abstract

The spawning stock size of the Chub Mackerel in the 34.1.3 CECAF Division has reduced to 103 ths. tons in 1977, rise to 248 ths. tons in 1981, and has regressed again in the following years. A fishing mortality of F = 0.50 (under the value of F0,1 = O.55) in 1984, 1985 and 1986 will conduct to a total allowable catch of about 75 ths. tons.
