Annotated bibliography on the macrophytobenthos along the Romanian Black Sea coast

An exhaustive bibliography for the period 1881-1986 consisting in 151 references concerning the macrophytobenthos off the Romanian Black Sea coast is being reviewed.
The following 18 main topics are dealt with: algology, bibliography, biochemistry, distribution, ecology, economic aspects, embryology, endocrinology, environmental parameters and pollution, flora, vegetation and phytocoenology, generalities, morphology, physiology, production and productivity, radioactivity and radiochemistry, radioecology and radioprotection, reproduction, taxonomy.
Out of the total references, originating in 50 indigenous and international periodical or occasional publications, the Romanian and Russian titles are translated and transliterated (and translated), respectively, in english.
