Romanian marine fishing of demersal species is a segment of special economic importance, the most valuable species being mainly turbot. In this paper are presented data on the demersal species turbot, whiting and dogfish, related to: Distribution and migration routes; State of exploitation at Black Sea level; The catch dynamics at Romanian littoral; Structure of fish populations on size classes; Growth parameters and mortality rates; Establish environmental health through the descriptor 3 (D3/MSFD); Conclusions and recommendations;
