The work presents the results of research performed in the Clinical Laboratory of the Constanţa Diving Center and emphasizes several aspects on the physiology of human adaptation to hyperbaric conditions. The novelty proposed by the paper is the preventive intervention by dosed and analytically controlled intake of adjuvants with antioxidant properties - vitamin E and CĂTINOFORT sea buckthorn extract. The results substantiate and suggest possibilities of applying these treatments to mitigate the effects of the oxidative stress related and inherent to working in hyperbaric conditions.
