Sur la biologie des copepodes pelagiques des eaux roumaines de la Mer Noire
Keywords:
copepodae, reproduction rateAbstract
Based on the high amount of zooplankton collected over several years in the Black Sea water facing the Romanian littoral, at low depths, the author analyzed the results of research on certain biological aspects of the major Copepodae living there, namely: Acartia clausi. Giesbr., Pseudocalanus elongatus, Boeck, Centropages ponticus. caravaj. and Oithona nanar Giesbr. The paper also analyses the reproduction rate and intensity, age structure of the population, sex ratio and Copepodae distribution in cross section, in keeping with the specific environment conditions, with season (spring and summer), and with Copepodae consumption by various other organisms.
