Sur la faune des cilies des sediments sabloneux du littoral roumain de la Mer Noire
Keywords:
psammobionte ciliates, distributionAbstract
On the basis of the observations and of the samples collected over the 1962-1969 in 11 localities from the Romanian Black Sea littoral, in the paper both, the distribution and the ecology of 71 species of psammobionte ciliates are given. Ecological data refer primary to the influence of the sand granulometry on the specific composition, estabishing the ratio the micro-, mezo- and euryporal species from varied localities. Then, the effect of tempe- rature salinity and feeding factor on the psammobionte ciliates are discussed. Also, the place of ciliates in the trophic web of the benthos and their role in the marine sand ecosistem are presented.
