Abstract

The paper presents the research carried out on board trawler "Constanţa" in 1967, in the continental shelf fishing area of the middle-east Atlan­tic, between parallels 26°00’ N and 13°00’ N, depths ranging from 80 to 200 m. Research was particularly concerned with : variations in environment conditions, species of fish caught, elements which characterize the population of the main species of fishes and productivity of bottomtrawling.
