Regime thermique des eaux marines sur le plateau continental roumain
Keywords:
air and water temperature, characterization of the temperatureAbstract
The existing relations between air and water temperature evolution allowed some correlations between air-temperature values, as recorded on the coast areas, and the water temperatures, as recorded over the continental shelf at the surface and bottom, to be established. The correlations determined by the least squares method shows a low scattering, which allows the temperatures of sea water to be predicted. This makes possible an objective characterization of the temperature of the water masses; moreover, the correlations have a practical usefulness with regard to the development of the marine environment activities.
