The paper presents the evolution in tine of phosphorus, silicon and total suspensions brought into the Black Sea by the Danube waters in the period 1974-1977. The high level of agricultural and industrial development and of urbanization lead to the growth of the phosphorus quantities. Works on regulations of the river Danube and its affluents have determined the diminution of silicon and total suspensions quantities.
