The presence of liposoluble green pigments from Mytilus galloprovincialis (seven) and Mya arenaria (six) was demonstrated. Absorption spectra (CHCl3) of these pigments presented absorption bands at 505-510; 537-540; 608-612 and 668nm (Mytilus galloprovincialis); 500-505; 535; 610-615 and 668-670nm (Mya arenaria). Seasonal changes of the green pigments level were determined for Mytilus galloprovincialis.
