Abstract

Based on more than 350 samples collected, with an original net both in May and September 1975, the distribution and some ecological aspects of the misidacean Mesopodopsis slabberi living in front of the Danube Delta are presented in the paper. In 1975 Mesopodopsis had very poor populations (maximum 95 individuals/m3) as compared with those recorded more than 20 years ago.
