The paper presents two new seaweeds for the Romanian Black Sea coast, Enteromorpha flexuosa subsp. pilifera BLIDING and Percursaria percursa (AG.) BORY. The first one is completely new for the Black Sea. Is pointed out the uncommon productivity of these seaweeds in marine invertebrate culture ponds. Are presented too some species able to do a large biomass in favorable conditions.
