Abstract

The work is presenting some new data concerning the activity of -amylase in 3 species of mollusks (Rapana thomasjana, Mytilus galloprovincialis and Mya arenaria) and 3 species of fish (Squalus acanthias, Sprattus sprattus sprattus and Engraulis enorasicholus ponticus) in the Romanian coastal waters of the Black Sea, in a cephalopod (Illex illecebrosus) and 5 species of fish (Etrumeus sadina, Trachurus trachurus trachurus, Scomber japonicus colias, Merluccius sp. and Balistes capriscus) captured in different areas of the World Ocean.
